Mega-corp…no — MAGA-corporations!
Trump's agenda is and will always be to further enrich his MAGA capitalist cronies at the expense of us. That's what he did in his first term, and he's doubled (even tripled) down on this during the first two months of his second term.
Today, we're fighting back with a boycott of the big brands enabling Trump and his billionaire buddies' behavior.
If you've been watching closely, you might've noticed a shift in the way corporations and their leaders are speaking and acting since the election. Target, Amazon, and all our favorite mega-corporations are abandoning their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in order to please the new administration.
Maybe we should call them MAGA-corporations?
Meanwhile, major tech and social media CEOs are ingratiating themselves to Trump in every way possible, giving him preferential treatment on their platforms, and donating millions to his campaign and PACs. One of them is even rampaging through our government, handing out federal contracts to himself and his buddies!
That's what this rightward turn is all about: buying influence so they can keep taking advantage of consumers, free from pesky things like laws and regulations.
Jim knows what corporate interests and the ultra-wealthy expect in return when they write a check to a campaign. That's why he's sworn off all corporate PAC money in his campaigns. Will you chip in $17 to our campaign before midnight and help us overcome the tidal wave of right-wing spending?
At an uncertain moment like this one, voices of clarity and reason like Jim's are indispensable in Congress. We need to ensure that his message is breaking through the noise. To do that, we need the resources to reach as many people as possible. So please donate $17 or anything you can before our deadline tonight.
Fired up and ready to go,
Team McGovern
