Your pre-election checklist
Before I go anywhere, I like to go over a mental checklist to make sure I've got everything I need. Heading to the polls this year is no exception. Luckily, there's only one thing you need to have done before going to vote: your voter registration.
To say that there's a lot going on in our world would be an understatement. In the last 6 months alone, our country has been through a veritable whirlwind of events in addition to the humdrum of everyday life.
Amongst all this chaos, I'd understand if registering to vote might have slipped your mind.
That's why I'm reaching out with a friendly (and timely) reminder that tomorrow is the last day to register to vote here in Massachusetts. Even if you're already registered, now is a great time to check your registration and ensure that all of your information is up to date.
I don't think I need to reiterate just how important this election is for the future of our country. It's crucial that you make your voice heard, so take just a couple of minutes today and check your registration or register to vote.
If you're already registered to vote, (or you just did it at the link above) congratulations! You're one step closer to deciding the future of our country.
If you want to keep the momentum going, you can join me on Saturday, November 2nd to knock doors and get out the vote in Worcester. It'll be energizing and a great way to start your weekend. After all, what's better than the smell of democracy in the morning?
