It is time to take back the power in Congress.
Republicans in Congress will do anything to avoid their jobs.
Sometimes that means infighting over who to elect as Speaker, at other moments it means bringing completely bogus impeachment charges against an honorable president, and most recently it means trying to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in “inherent contempt” because he is following the law and refusing to give in to GOP political theater.
I don’t know about you but I am sick and tired of their nonsense. Chip in now to help Democrats take back the House so we can finally get back to doing what Americans want and need us to do: govern.
No matter which imaginary crisis Republicans focus on, one thing is always true. They’re more focused on political theater than working for the American people.
- They try to institute a national abortion ban.
- They hold government funding hostage to their insane and useless demands.
- They shut down progress on immigration reform.
- They fail to act to make life more affordable for Americans.
- They do everything in their power to defeat workers’ rights and fair wages.
- They actively pursue false information in the hopes of setting the stage to overturn election results in 2024.
It is time to take back the power in Congress. The American people deserve to be represented by leaders who understand and work to solve their problems, not people doing everything they can to destroy democracy.
