Two questions

2024 is a hugely important year for the future of our country. Right now, Republicans across the country are being asked: Do you believe in our democracy and the rule of law?

So far, the results are bleak: Despite criminal indictments in multiple states (on federal charges) and his increasingly authoritarian statements, Trump won the Iowa caucuses by a record-breaking +30-point margin and the New Hampshire primary just last night.

In just a few short months, again, Americans will be presented with a question: Who should control the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate?

We have to regain a Democratic majority in the House and return to providing a government that works for everyone. The extremist factions governing the GOP continue to refuse to work for everyday people. That means nothing is sacred, nothing is guaranteed, and it falls to the rest of us — who aren't ensnared by the former president — to stand up for our democracy and soundly repudiate the MAGA coalition in November. We'll need all the help we can get. Will you pitch in to help us meet our first fundraising deadline of the year?
