Don’t settle for this dysfunction.

The incompetence of Congressional Republicans takes my breath away.

First, it took them 15 rounds of voting and nearly a week of fighting amongst themselves to pick their own Speaker.

Next, they wasted all our time passing one MAGA messaging bill after another that had no hope of becoming law.

Then, they nearly defaulted on our debt and shut down the government. (Both times, Democrats came to the rescue as the adults in the room.)

Now, they've gone to war with themselves — voting to remove their own Speaker, and grinding the work of Congress to a halt as their civil war escalates.

When Democrats were in charge, with the same slim majority, we got to work for the American people. But all Republicans seem to care about is tearing each other apart on national television. They're more interested in keeping their jobs than doing their jobs.
