There’s no “entitlement” involved

Radical Republicans are at it again.

They released their target 2024 budget—and they want to gut essential safety nets like Social Security and Medicare as a measure of "entitlement reform."

This is laughable coming from a party that voted to cut taxes for billionaire corporations and the ultra-wealthy. We know it's not about fiscal responsibility. It's about handouts to the well-connected. They must start prioritizing the well-being of the American people over political theater.

These safety nets aren't just fancy buzzwords or political games. They're the real deal, meant to ensure our seniors can live with dignity, individuals with disabilities can access necessary support, and anyone can see a doctor when they need to.

Can you join the fight against radical Republicans in Congress with a donation today?

With nearly nine out of ten seniors collecting Social Security benefits each month, the GOP would senselessly plunge an entire generation into poverty. And frankly, all of these folks paid into Social Security. It's their money. There's no "entitlement" involved.

Republicans don't care that most older Americans rely on Social Security for the majority of their income. They don't care that more than 80% of Americans support Social Security. Or that millions of seniors would be thrown into poverty if there are any changes to benefits.

They simply don't care.

The consequences of their assault on Social Security and Medicare are dire. We must stand up and fight back. Will you join our resistance against Republican cruelty and donate $6 today?

We can't let them dismantle our social safety net. We have to keep fighting for compassion, fairness, and justice, because that's what truly matters in creating a better future for all our families.

Yours in the fight,

Jim
